The top two teams in the National Basketball Association are set to square off at the TD Garden in Boston. The Oklahoma City Thunder are at the Boston Celtics. Oklahoma City is 52-23, and battling with the Nuggets and Timberwolves for the top seed in the West. Oklahoma City had won back to back games, but lost Tuesday against Philadelphia.
The Boston Celtics are 59-16 on the season. Boston is 11.5 games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks for the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics will get home court all the way through the NBA Playoffs. Boston has won back to back games, with the most recent coming on the road at Charlotte on Monday.

Breakthrough Season for Thunder
Oklahoma City is thrilled to death to be playing in the final weeks with a chance to be the top seed in the Western Conference. The Thunder come into this game ranked third in all of the league in offense. Oklahoma City is scoring more than 120 points per game. The shooting for the Thunder is 2nd, at 50% from the field.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been incredible for the Thunder. The guard is going to be up for consideration for the league Most Valuable Player. He has played in 71 games, and is scoring more than 30 points per game, dishing out 6.3 assists per game, and ripping down nearly 6 rebounds. In the win on Sunday, he scored 19 points in 34 minutes despite a quadriceps injury. He did not play last night.
The Thunder will remain on the road for two more games after this. Oklahoma City is in Indianapolis on Friday and Charlotte on Sunday. After that, they will play their final four games at home. The Thunder are set to host the Kings, Spurs, Bucks and Mavericks.
Top Team in NBA – Boston Celtics
Jayson Tatum is another guy that is going to get consideration for the Most Valuable Player. The St. Louis native has played in 70 games this season, and is scoring 27.2 points per game. Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis have been great as well. Brown is at 23.2 points and Porzingis is at 20.2 per game.
In the latest win for the Celtics, Brown did not play, but they still won. Tatum scored 25 points and recorded 10 rebounds, while Porzingis had 20 points and 7 rebounds. Derrick White discord 19 points in the game, while Sam Hauser came off the bench and recorded 25 points.
Boston is set for two more home games following this one. The Celtics welcome the Kings on Friday and Portland on Sunday. A quick trip to Milwaukee to see the Bucks is next, before they come home for their final two games. The Celtics host the Knicks and Hornets.

We expect this to be a great basketball game. Check who is going to play, and who is not before this one starts. That is a huge deal, especially for the Thunder.
