Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 6 Betting Preview

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will be in Florida to face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a highly anticipated Week 6 matchup on Sunday. The two may see themselves facing each other yearly now that Brady is in the NFC and not the AFC, where they would only meet once every four years.

It really is too bad that Rodgers hasn’t been able to lead the Packers to a Super Bowl in nine years. Patriots vs. Packers could have been one of the best Super Bowls we’ve seen, with all of that star power at the quarterback position, just slinging the ball all over the field.

But, we snap back to the present for this Sunday’s battle. Rodgers has been off to a perfect start through four games, now 17-3 in the regular season with Matt LaFleur at the helm. He is limiting his interceptions and finding ways to dominate despite an extremely depleted receiver corps.

Tampa Bay, meanwhile, looks to avenge last week’s loss and keep its record over .500.

The spread for the contest favors Green Bay by one point. The over/under is set at 55.

Packers Eye 5-0 Start

You cannot look at the Packers stats through four games and find any sort of flaw with their play. The offense has been the textbook definition of perfect, while the defense has been able to support them well. They’re bringing a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Rodgers is the best quarterback in the game not named Russell Wilson this season and is putting up monstrous numbers while throwing to several of his receivers in games for the first time. The Packers were without Davante Adams for the last few games, but that still didn’t slow Rodgers down. Next man up is the mentality here.

LaFleur has been doing a masterful job, clearly the right candidate to coach this team. But all that matters in the long run is how the Packers do in the playoffs.

Bucs Looking to Bounce Back

After the Bucs lost in Week 1, they followed it with three wins in a row. That would be ideal for them if it happened the same way this time. They would be 6-2 if the trend continued this week and into the two games that will follow it.

The Bucs had a busy offseason, adding parts on both offense and defense, which seem to be working well. Their running back depth has been tested in recent weeks, and it’s proven successful.

Brady, for the most part, has been playing some great football in 2020. The team has some discipline issues to work on, but besides that, not many problems.

Brady won’t be the big key Sunday, though. It will be the Bucs’ cornerbacks and safeties. Can they make timely tackles and actually intercept the perfect quarterback?

Bucs Come Away With Surprise Victory

Rodgers and the Packers will fall just short, giving their fans a rude Sunday awakening. The Bucs will improve to 4-2.
