Free Picks & Betting Tips for the PGA Quicken Loans National

The PGA Tour moves to the nation’s capital, or just outside, as the Quicken Loans National is on the slate. This comes a weekend after the Jordan Spieth chip in from the bunker to win the Travelers Championship. The Quicken Loans National has just been around since 2007, and many times it’s played on the weekend that corresponds with 4th of July. This year, the event will be played at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. The par 70 course is more than 7,100 yards. Last year, Billy Hurley III took down the title. In the history of the event, Troy Merritt has the record, as he went -18 under back in 2016. Let’s take a look at our Free Picks and Betting tips for the PGA Quicken Loans National.

>> Bet on the Quicken Loans National at our favorite sportsbook — 5Dimes

Rickie Fowler 15/2

Rickie Fowler is the odds on favorite to win this event. He is the best player in the field. Fowler is ranked 8th on the PGA Money List, and has made nearly $4M this season. Fowler has played in 13 events and finished in the Top 10 6 times. Look for Fowler to use much of his success at the US Open to have himself in the mix at this event as well.

Justin Thomas 11/1

The former University of Alabama golfer is just 24 years old, and has emerged as one of the top players in the game. He has moved to 4th on the Money List, with more than $5M. He has played in 17 events, and finished Top 10 7 times. Thomas has already taken down 3 titles as well. It’s obvious he has the tools and the skills, Thomas is seeking his 4th title, and should be set up to succeed this weekend.

Patrick Reed 12/1

Patrick Reed is one of the most underrated golfers on tour. Sure, Reed is 51st on the Money List, but he is always around on the final day. He has finished Top 10 twice in 20 events, but made the cut 80% of the events he has played in. He finished 13th at the US Open, and 5th at the Travelers, so he knows his skill set can win a championship.

Danny Lee 33/1

You got to like the 26 year old from South Korea, and now New Zealand. He has been a pro since 2009, and this season he is reaching the $2M mark in earnings. He has played in 23 events, and been in the top 10 three times. Lee has finished in the Top 10 in three of his last five events. The Byron Nelson he was 5th, Dean + Deluca he finished 6th and last week he was third at the Travelers. At 33/1, Danny Lee is a great value.

Si-Woo Kim 40/1

The 21 year old from South Korea has 2 Top 10 finishes in 22 events during the 2017 season. Kim has a title, which has pushed him to $2.5M in earnings. He finished 13th at the US Open, and earlier in May he took down the Players Championship. Do not be surprised if Kim is there on the final day.

The PGA Quicken Loans National should be another pretty exciting event. We are looking forward to the event, and are ready to place our bets on it. After it’s all said and done our final bet for the Quicken Loans is Danny Lee. Danny Lee played well last weekend, and seems to have some momentum to grab a title here. Danny Lee at +3300 is the bet we are making. Best of luck with all your PGA Betting, and enjoy the tournament.
