Cale Makar has recorded at least one point in nine of the 12 postseason games for the Colorado Avalanche.
Pavel Francouz is projected to be the starting goalie in Game 3 after posting a shutout in Game 2 in place of Darcy Kuemper due to injury.
Edmonton Oilers Must Win Game 3
Evander Kane has been one of the best goal scorers in the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers Pick and Prediction
The Edmonton Oilers are returning home for Game 3 and they are in a must-win situation. Maybe switching venues will help this hockey team because it has happened a lot this postseason.
Colorado’s record against the spread on the road during the regular season was 18-23.
Edmonton’s record against the spread at home during the regular season was 20-21.
The Edmonton Oilers this postseason have won their last three home games and the Colorado Avalanche have won their last three postseason games, so something has to give in Game 3. The goal total for Game 3 is seven goals. Expect more than four goals to be scored in Game 3 and it would be safe to bet the over.
This could potentially be another wild hockey game because the Oilers play well behind their home crowd and the Avalanche also loves to play on the road and make noise as well.
Edmonton +1.5 is the pick to play in this one.
