Cavaliers Red Hot

The Cleveland Cavaliers used a massive game from Donovan Mitchell to take down Detroit on Wednesday. Mitchell scored 45 points, dished out 8 assists and recorded 6 rebounds in the game. Cleveland also got 19 from Darius Garland, as they saw five guys score in double figures.

The Cavaliers are 19th in the league in scoring with 114.1 points per game. Cleveland has been a solid rebounding team, as they are ripping down 45.1 per game. The Cavaliers are shooting 47.8% from the field, and make more than 13 points per game.

Cleveland will finish their mini road trip in San Antonio on Saturday. After that, the Cavaliers will host the Kings on Monday, before going back on the road for three more. They will visit the Wizards, Nets and Raptors before hosting Philadelphia on February 12th.

Jackson Leading Banged up Memphis Squad

Memphis is led in scoring by Jaren Jackson Jr. The big man has been terrific for the Grizzlies, with 21.9 points per game, 5.6 rebounds and 2 assists. Jackson has missed just two games for Memphis this season.

Ja Morant played just nine games for Memphis this season, and Desmond Bane has missed the last 10. Those two guys combined for nearly 50 points per game when on the court. Another guy that has missed time has been Marcus Smart. In 47 games, he has played just 20. In the recent loss to Sacramento, the Grizzlies saw six guys score double digits with Jackson leading the way with 22. Santi Aldama scored 16 as well.

Memphis is at home against Golden State on Friday. Following that, the Grizzlies will go on the road for back to back games. Memphis will head to Boston and New York, before coming back home to host the Bulls.

Cavaliers Stay Hot over Grizzlies

This should be an interesting game. The Grizzlies show that they can play hard when push comes to shove. But,  in the end, they just have too many injuries to impact guys. The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team that continues to come at you, and that is going to be the case in this game.

We are going to bet the road team here. Take Cleveland -5.5 over Memphis on Thursday in the National Basketball Association. Good luck with all your NBA betting and enjoy the game!
