For Memphis they are 17-27 on the season. The Grizzlies are outside the Top 10 in the Western Conference. But, the Grizzlies have won back to back games. The most recent win for Memphis was on the road at the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

Banchero Leading Orlando Charge
Paolo Banchero is the top scorer for the Orlando Magic this season. The former Duke Blue Devils star is scoring 22.5 points per game, grabbing 7.1 rebounds and dishing out 4.8 assists per game. Second for the Magic has been Frank Wagner with 20.7 per game, while Cole Anthony is adding 13 per game.
The Magic are 25th in the league in scoring with 111.4 points per game. The Magic are one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league, making 10.7 per game. In their most recent loss; Orlando was able to score just 99 points in a home loss to Cleveland.
The Magic will host the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. After that, the Magic are on the road for five straight games. Orlando will make stops in Dallas, San Antonio, Minneapolis. Detroit and Miami. The next time Orlando is at home is February 8th, against the Spurs.
Grizzlies Battling in 2024
The Memphis Grizzlies have all sorts of reasons to quit on the 2024 portion of their season. The top two scorers Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are both out. While Morant only played a handful of games, those two combine for nearly 50 points per game. Marcus Smart is also out with injury for Memphis.
Despite that, the Grizzlies are 6-4 in their last 10 games, and are 8-5 in the month of January. The Grizzlies are one of the worst offensive teams in all of the NBA. Memphis is scoring just 107.8 points per game. Defense has to be the name of the game, and has been in their back to back road wins in Toronto and Miami. The Grizzlies allowed 98 points per game.
Memphis will play at Indianapolis on Sunday against the Pacers, and then head back home for three straight. The Sacramento Kings come to town Monday, followed by visits from the Cavaliers and Warriors.
Great Game in Memphis
We expect a great game here. Both teams have seen their share of ups and downs this season. For Orlando, they are battling in the East for a postseason spot. The Magic started hot, but have kind of leveled out as of late. They are seeking to stay above .500.
