In the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road at the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. This is Game 5 of the best of 7 series in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics lead the series 3-1 after their Monday win on the road. The winner of this series will head to the conference Finals and battle either the Knicks or Pacers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have their season on the line here. Cleveland won 48 games during the regular season to garner the fourth seed. The Cavaliers eliminated the Orlando Magic in 7 games in the first series. The line win for the Cavaliers during this series came in Game 2. Now they must win three in a row to keep their season alive.

The Boston Celtics are a win away from getting back to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics reached that series a season ago, and fell to the Miami Heat in Game 7. The Celtics this season have been the best team in the NBA with their 64 regular season wins. Boston eliminated the Heat in the first round.

The Boston Celtics are massive favorites in this game. Boston is listed at -15.5 at home in this game over Cleveland. The total for this game is listed at 205.5.

Cleveland on the Ropes

Darius Garland had his best game of the postseason on Monday. He had to, as the Cavaliers were without their top scorer Donovan Mitchell. Cleveland has also been without big man Jarrett Allen in this series. Garland led the team with 30 points, while Caris LeVert added 19 in the game.

Cleveland scored 112.6 points per game in the regular season. The Cavaliers made more than 13 three point shots per game. The Cavaliers also made nearly 37% from downtown. Cleveland hopes to have Mitchell back for Game 5. MItchell scored 33 in Games 1 and 3 of the series, and 29 in Game 2.

The Cavaliers lone win in this series saw them score 118 points. In the three losses, Cleveland is averaging 97.3 per game.

Big Game Boston Celtics

The Celtics got a big game from their star. Jayson Tatum poured in 33 points, and ripped down 11 rebounds in the big Game 5 win. Jaylen Brown was also terrific, as he scored 27 points in the game as well. Tatum and Brown have taken over the last two games, with 33 and 27.5 points per game respectively.

Boston was one of the top scoring teams in all of the league all season. The Celtics scored 120.6 points per game. The Boston offense made nearly 17 three point shots per game. Boston made nearly 39% of their shots from downtown this season.

Kristaps Porzingis continues to sit with a calf injury. Boston hopes to have him back if they can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. A win here would allow for Boston to have several days of rest before their next series.

Cavaliers Keep it Close

The Boston Celtics are going to win this game. This series is going to come to an end. But, the Cleveland Cavaliers have a little life left in them. We think Cleveland will compete and keep this a close game.

We like the Cavaliers to cover the huge spread. Our final bet for this game is the Cleveland Cavaliers +15.5 over the Boston Celtics. Enjoy the game and best of luck with all your National Basketball Association bets.
