PPA Continues to Work Hard for Full Tilt Poker Players

The Poker Players Alliance has been a driving force behind poker player’s rights for many years now and they continue to help with the current Full Tilt Poker situation. Rich Muny, the VP of Player Relations of the PPA, has released a statement which gives a report as to how they are working to provide Full Tilt Poker players their full payment.

Muny’s report stated that the PPA is currently ‘at the forefront of advocating for our rights in this matter” and the PPA asked and received the opportunity to recommend a path for repayment of the players in the US. The PPA has asked for 100% repayment of player balances and a letter was sent to the DOJ in this regard. This letter can be read here.

Muny went on to state that the PPA will continue to have a dialog with the DOJ and they are looking to streamline the process for application for remission. The statement read:

“ We are also advocating for clear processes to address withdrawals that were deducted from balances but never sent, bounced withdrawal checks, unused tournament tokens, FTP points, Iron Man Medals, etc. Non-cash items will be toughest, but we will do our part to make the requests through the appropriate channels. PPA’s legal team will remain fully involved as the ‘voice of the player’ to ensure we are all heard throughout this process.”

As we mentioned in an earlier post, the PPA has created a repayment website, where players can find all of the information they need on the repayment process. Links, press releases and more information is listed at the repayment site, which can be found here. We will continue to monitor this situation and bring players the information needed so they can know exactly when and how their repayment will be issued.
