An Overview of WSOP.com Bracelet Events in the Summer

Although nobody is quite certain what will happen with the World Series of Poker due to coronavirus, the popular poker festival has found a valuable alternative — online poker events. Players who like WSOP will have an opportunity to take part in 85 bracelet events this summer. This means that the winner of each of these events will be rewarded with one of the most important “trophies” in the poker world.

Out of the announced 85 events, 31 will be hosted by WSOP.com, whereas the remaining 54 will be on GGPoker. So far, we only know the schedule for the events that are on WSOP.com, so let’s check them out.

The first event will start on July 1, and the last one will be on July 31, meaning there will be one event daily. All events are scheduled to take place at 3 pm PDT, and there will be all kinds of formats.

When it comes to buy-ins, the lowest you’ll have to pay to play some of the events is $400. You can do that on July 3, when there’s a $400 No-Limit Hold ’em Event. A similar event will take place on July 19, 24, and 27. However, the ones on July 24 and 27 will have the 8-Handed and Freezeout format, respectively.

The most common buy-in price will be $500, and there will be a total of 12 events that will require players to pay that entrance fee. All these events will differ in terms of the tournament structure. For example, the first $500 event will be on July 4, and it will be a No-Limit Hold ’em Super Turbo.

The next one in line is on July 8, and it will be a No-Limit Hold ’em Freezeout. Those interested in Omaha will have an opportunity to take part in $500 PLO 8-Max HR on July 15.

There are also three $600 events planned on July 6, 10 and 29. The one on July 6 is a PLO 6-handed event. The other two are No-Limit Hold ’em MonsterStack and Turbo Deepstack 6-handed. On top of that, players will have an opportunity to take part in two No-Limit Hold ’em events on July 17 and 21 that will require the buy-in of $777.

Only one $800 event will take place on July 7, and it will be a No-Limit Hold ’em Knockout Deepstack.
There will be a total of seven $1,000 events on July 2, 5, 9, 15, 18, 28, and 31. All of them will be different types of No-Limit Hold ’em except for the one on July 28, which will be Omaha Hi-Lo 6-Max.

Only two events will require players to pay more than $1,000 to take part in them, and they are a No-Limit Hold ’em High Roller Freezeout that will cost $1,500 to play, and a No-Limit Hold ’em High Roller that will cost $3,200 to play. They will take place on July 13 and 14.
