The 2012 World Series of Poker continues and each event provides even more excitement, as the top poker pros face off and try to win their first or next WSOP bracelet. Event #15 of the WSOP was full of excitement as Adam Friedman and Todd Brunson faced off in a long heads up match.

Event #15 saw 212 players competing in the $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split-8 or Better tournament. Both Friedman and Brunson would be on top of their game and eventually make it to heads up play. Brunson would hold the chip lead going in to heads up play and would hold the lead for the majority of heads up play. However, over the three and a half hours of heads up action, Friedman would slowly began to pick away at Brunson’s chip lead to eventually earn his first WSOP bracelet.

Heads up play would be long and drawn out but in the end Friedman would be able to earn the win. On the final hand, both players would go back and forth until Brunson shoved all in. Brunson held (x-x)/10 hearts-7diamonds-Jackspades and Friedman held (x-x)/2 clubs-5diamonds-Qdiamonds. With the all in, Brunson showed 10-3 suited clubs while Friedman showed pocket Jacks.
