Orpen Kisacikoglu is a recreational poker player who has made 97 cashes and won more than $15.1 million. He has won seven poker titles like a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.
Still, the player led a 95-entry field at No.6: $10,000 Buy-In Event to win the $218,500 top prize. It was the 2023 Poker Master’s last $10,000 tournament.
Kisacikoglu battled it out with talented players like Stephen Chidwick and Justin Bonomo. His latest victory earned him 540 Card Player Player of the Year (POY) points that improved his position at Global Poker’s 2023 POY race to 33rd place. Yet, he has reached nine final tables so far in 2023 and bagged three titles.
Reports indicate that the player has accrued over $4.2 million in POY earnings. Besides, he amassed 219 PokerGO Tour (PGT) points and improved to the sixth position in the 2023 Poker Masters Purple Jacket.
The tournament’s participants formed a $950,000 prize pool that the leading 14 finalists shared.

The Final Day’s Action
Seven players advanced to Day 2, with Kisacikoglu leading the pack and Chino Rheem being second in the leaderboard. Ryan Riess’ (2013 WSOP Main Event winner) A-9 lost a preflop race to Bonomo’s A-K, hence finishing seventh with $47,500. It was the former’s 18th final table finish this year, and is sixth on the POY standings.
Rheem sent Sam Laskowitz packing in the fifth position with $76,000. But the former later lost most of his chips to Jack Hardcastle after his opponent’s pocket aces dominated his pocket jacks. Rheem went all-in with pocket sixes, risking his stack against Kisacikoglu’s A-10.
Unfortunately, the former lost the battle and finished fourth with $95,000. He increased his POY points to 313.
Bonomo followed Rheem in third place with $114,000 shortly. The former used 5-4 suited to go all-in from the big blind with less than four big blinds.
Kisacikoglu used ace high to make a button shove that landed on the river and busted Bonomo. The former had an 11,100,000:775,000 chip advantage over Hardcastle when their heads-up match kicked off.
Hardcastle used QClub SuitJHeart Suit to make a six big blind button shove on the first hand, and Kisacikoglu used 10Diamond Suit6Heart Suit to call from the big blind.
