The Philadelphia Eagles took down the rematch of the Super Bowl with a 21-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The game wrapped up a great week of action in Week 11 of the season. We get ready for Week 12, because there is a three pack of games on Thursday, and then the first ever Black Friday game on Friday. Let’s take a look at some of the best games on the Week 12 slate:
Green Bay Packers +7.5 at Detroit Lions; 47.5
The last time these two teams played David Montgomery ran wild and the Lions smacked the Packers in Green Bay. Jordan Love is playing better, but the Lions at home are awfully tough to slow down. Detroit is fortunate to be in this spot, as they were on the ropes last week against Chicago. This is a fun first game on Thanksgiving Day!
Washington Commanders +10.5 at Dallas Cowboys; 48.5
The Cowboys get their Thanksgiving Day game. They get their divisional rivals, and the struggling Washington Commanders. The Commanders lost to the Giants, to complete a season sweep from their rivals. Sam Howell is turnover prone and sacked a ton. The Cowboys defense loves to get after the football, and will torture the quarterback. This could get ugly on Thanksgiving.
San Francisco 49ers -6.5 at Seattle Seahawks 43.5
Two teams with opposite results last week. The 49ers won their second straight game with another impressive performance from Brock Purdy. The Seahawks lost to the Rams for the second time this season. Now, if the Seahawks want any chance at taking down the NFC West title, they are going to need to win this game at home. This is the final game of the Thanksgiving 2023 slate.
Miami Dolphins -9.5 at New York Jets; 40.5
The Dolphins narrowly escaped at home against the Raiders last week. It was not pretty, but it was a win. The Jets cannot find any way to win, let alone score. The Jets are in big trouble. While they are solid on defense, they cannot move the football. This will be started by Tim Boyle behind center, but that will not matter. Tua and company look to move another game closer to the divisional title with a Black Friday game.
Baltimore Ravens -4 at Los Angeles Chargers; 46.5
This seems like the last straw for the Los Angeles Chargers. On Sunday Night Football, against the Ravens, who lead the AFC North. Baltimore will be without the services of Mark Andrews, who left in the win over Cincinnati. The Ravens are 8-3, while the Chargers are 4-6. If Los Angeles is going to win, they’re going to have to get the ball to Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler.
Chicago Bears +3.5 at Minnesota Vikings; 44.5
Minnesota would like to have that Sunday Night Football game back. In fact, both teams would like to have their Week 11 game back. Both should have won. Justin Fields was great with his legs, but the defense could not stop the Lions late. For the Vikings, they saw Denver score a late touchdown to take them down. There is a chance Justin Jefferson will return in this game for the Vikings.
