Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions are familiar with the Thanksgiving Day game. They have played in it every year for decades. Golden Tate remains as the top target, and he needs just 309 yards to reach 1,000 on the season. The Lions receiver has 3 touchdowns as well.

Ameer Abdullah is the top rusher for the Lions. The former Nebraska Cornhuskers running back has rushed 144 times for 491 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Detroit goes on the road for their next two games after this. The Lions are at the Ravens and Buccaneers.

Zimmer in Running for Coach of the Year

Mike Zimmer has done a fantastic job as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings lost Teddy Bridgewater a season ago, and replaced him with Sam Bradford. Now Bradford is hurt and Case Keenum is getting the job done as the starter. Minnesota has won three out of four games that have been played on the road, with the lone road loss in Pittsburgh.

Without rookie running back Dalvin Cook, Jerrick Mckinnon and LaTavius Murray have got the job done. Murray now leads the team with 412 rushing yards. Adam Thielen has emerged as a top receiver in the league, as he needs just 84 yards to reach 1,000 on the season.

Lions Get Huge Win

Jim Caldwell and the Detroit Lions have had a good track record of games in November. This game is another example of that – as they are the underdog, but our pick to win the game. Matthew Stafford is the difference maker in this game, Despite going against a really good defensive unit in Minnesota; Stafford sprays the football all over the field, and leads them to a win. When you are betting on this game, take the Detroit Lions +2 over the Minnesota Vikings.
