Jason Garrett and his Dallas Cowboys are in trouble. The Cowboys lost Ezekiel Elliott, and have been pretty noncompetitive in those two games. The Los Angeles Chargers are looking to surge and post in the postseason race out of the AFC. Two games behind the Chiefs, but in a battle for a wildcard spot. The Chargers lost four straight games to start the season, and then won three in a row, before losing back to back games at the Patriots and Jaguars. The Chargers scored 54 points last week to erase the losing streak.
Phillip Rivers has thrown to Keenan Allen often this season. Sunday – he was the receipient of two touchdown passes on Sunday against the Bills. Allen on the season has caught 56 passes for 755 yards and 3 touchdowns. Melvin Gordon leads the team in rushing, with 633 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Chargers will host the winless Browns next week, and then host Washington following that, before a trip to Kansas City.
Chargers Down Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are used to playing these Thanksgiving Day games, but this is not going to play a factor in this game. The Cowboys are just too banged up right now. No Ezekiel Elliott just kills their offense, and the defense is banged up as well. The Los Angeles Chargers are going to carry over their solid offensive attack of Week 11 into this game.
