This bowl game will be one of the most intense games this year. Michigan is back in the College Football Playoff for the second consecutive year. They have a far more advantageous semifinal game as Michigan faces TCU at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium in the Fiesta Bowl. The Wolverines dominated the field and destroyed Ohio State once more as they climbed the rankings this year. The Horned Frogs’ 12-0 record during the regular season allowed them to advance. TCU was admitted to the College Football Playoffs for the first time after losing the Big 12 championship game to Kansas State 31-28 in overtime. So, TCU is coming into this game with a 12-1 record with Michigan coming in with an undefeated 13-0 record. Michigan is listed at -7.5 over TCU.

TCU has turned so many heads this season with how they have played. Many people believe that TCU has not earned a playoff spot this year and that Alabama should be their replacement. Which did not happen so, we will see if the Horned Frogs have enough left in the tank for a win against the Wolverines. The Horned Frogs have had so many close games, including Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas, and then their only loss to Kansas State. The man behind all of this success would be Heisman finalist Max Duggen’s. Duggen has had one of the best seasons in the NCAA being able to throw for 3,321 yards and adding on 30 touchdowns. The Horned Frogs play both the pass and run game, and the running back for the Horned Frogs is Kendre Miller. Miller has also had an outstanding season with 216 carries for 1,342 yards.
Michigan Wolverines
Michigan has not been talked about enough.
I do not know why Michigan has been the least talked about team in this College Playoff atmosphere. The Wolverines have had an undefeated season and have played some challenging teams this year. Michigan faced off this season against two big teams, which are Penn State and Ohio State. Ohio State definitely put the Wolverines on the map after getting stomped on at Ohio. Being able to beat Ohio State by 22 points at home shows they have a great chance of winning the National Championship this year. The man that has given the Wolverines the opportunity to win has been J.J. McCarthy has thrown for 2,376 yards this season and added 20 touchdowns. Blake Corum is also coming back after his injury, which will be a huge advantage for the Wolverines after giving them 1,463 rushing yards on the season.
