Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams Betting Preview

It’s going down in LA on Sunday as the Seattle Seahawks meet the Los Angeles Rams at 4:25 EST. Both of these teams have found great success this year, though the quality wins have not been there. Four of the Rams five victories have come in games against the NFC East, but they each have a huge opportunity to stay afloat in a crowded NFC West.

When you consider that Kyler Murray is doing fantastic things in Arizona and these two teams are separated by one game, this is huge. The NFC West has been on a tear this season, with three fantastic teams and then the 49ers sitting at the bottom of the division, trying to climb their way out of it.

Seattle has been playing some fantastic offensive football, while their defense leaves quite a bit to be desired. They are essentially the opposite of the LA Chargers. They play in wild games every week, but they usually find a way to come out on top at the end of it. Time to found out if they have what it takes to stop the Rams.

ODDS:

The spread for Sunday’s game favors LA by 2 points, the over/under set at 54.

Seahawks Aiming for 7-2 Mark

In what has been a strong season for the Seahawks, they have no room for error. Their division features the hot Cardinals and this Rams team that is just one game back. Russell Wilson generally steps his game up during the big games, so that could bode well for these guys.

His chemistry with Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf has been exceptional to watch, the growth really continuing to be there. The way he finds them in tight spaces on every inch of the field is truly incredible to behold as a spectator. Fun fact: Russell Wilson has never had a losing record as the starting QB for the Seahawks.

There is still a lack of health at the running back position, but they’re all set everywhere else. A healthy Jamal Adams is also critical to the play of the defense.

Rams Looking for Biggest Win of Season

Sean McVay’s team will surely need a victory in this one, or their chances of winning the division will be extremely low. A loss in this game might spell doom for their entire season, given how deep the NFC has been so far. So, they need to treat this as a postseason game.

They have been going back and forth between several running backs, all of them doing a formidable job. Darrell Henderson has been leading the way, with Malcolm Brown also having some success. We haven’t seen too much growth this year from Cam Akers, but he can be better with more opportunities.

This game will come down to how Jared Goff performs, and his past track record indicates that he may not perform to standards. But, you never know.
