In Week 3 of the NFL preseason, the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys square off at AT&T Stadium on Friday. The Seattle Seahawks just suffered a 27-11 loss against the Bears. While the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Chargers 32-18.
Seattle has been dealing with a quarterback battle, and both Drew Lock and Geno Smith will receive the bulk of the playing time. The Cowboys, on the other hand, will most likely rest their players, ensuring no starters get hurt.
For those reasons, sportsbooks have opened with the Seahawks as -6.5 (-110) favorites, while the Cowboys are +6.5 spread underdogs. Seattle will be hefty -320 favorites, while the Cowboys are +250 on the money line. The point total has been set at 37.5.
Seahawks Search For First Preseason Win
Russell Wilson, a multi-time Pro Bowler and previous Super Bowl champion quarterback was traded away by the Seahawks in the offseason, signaling that the organization was moving on from its heyday and attempting to assemble a new championship-caliber group.
The Seahawks also let go of veteran RB Chris Carson, DE Carlos Dunlap, longtime OLB K.J. Wright, and longtime leader LB Bobby Wagner.

Seattle’s defense was solid despite a bad record, allowing 21.5 points per game. Jordyn Brooks, who led the league in tackles last season with 184, is back. Quandre Diggs, who had five interceptions in the previous campaign, is also returning to lead the secondary.
Cowboys To Rest Starters
As they get ready to wrap up their preseason campaign, the Dallas Cowboys are in a very different situation than the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas just finished a season in which the team lost in the first round of the playoffs despite winning the division.
With a strong offensive line, one of the top young wide receivers in football in CeeDee Lamb, several rising young stars on the offensive side of the ball in LB Micah Parsons and CB Trevon Diggs, and a great quarterback in Dak Prescott. Don’t anticipate seeing any of those players on the field in this game because this team’s top priorities will be health and execution.
Six of the Dallas Cowboys’ last seven preseason games have ended in losses. While giving up 18 points and 296 yards, the Cowboys scored 32 points and racked up 242 yards. Will Grier passed for 98 yards in the successful attempt, and Cooper Rush completed three of six passes.
