Niklas Astedt was eager to win his sixth Super MILLION$ title at GGPoker. But, Samuel Vousden killed his dream after beating him in heads-up action to win the title and $295,535.

Action at the Final Table
The first finalist left the final table after over one and a half hours of play. Artur Martirosian staked his chips from a cutoff using king-jack while Astedt called from the button and Lucio “WizardOfAz” Lima called from the big blind.
Astedt got the best hand from an ace on the river while holding ace-queen offsuit, hence denying Lima’s pocket queens a triple-up. The latter left the event and Astedt got the stack lead.
Arsenii Malinov went all in from under the gun after two minutes while Mark Radoja jammed from another seat over. The former’s jack-ten was behind the latter’s ace-queen. Malinov left the table after an ace appeared on the flop and he took home $52,361.
Radoja later used pocket kings to raise from the cutoff. Andrew Novak used nine-six suited to defend his big blind. He flopped a big combo draw that earned him a flush and a straight.
Both players got their remaining chips in the middle of the flop as Radoja faced elimination. Luckily, the turn kept him ahead before Novak used a flush on the river to eliminate him.
Justin Bonomo’s Performance
Justin Bonomo was the chip leader when the final day began. But he was the next player to leave the table after using a pair of sevens to put in his remaining 915,458 chips and Vousden called them using pocket nines.
Bonomo failed to leapfrog Vousden and finished sixth with $85,851. Matirosian reclaimed the stack lead from Astedt after they committed their chips’ preflop in a blind-versus-blind match.
Matirosian was dominated and was facing elimination as Astedt’s pair of eights led his pocket fours. But the latter got a vital double-up from a four on the river.
Topgrek opened ace-nine from a middle position and called off his remaining chips. Astedt jammed using pocket jacks as a covering stack from the big blind. Topgrek landed a pair on the river but his run ended after a nine paired up instead of an ace.
Vousden used ace-eight to raise in a small blind and Matirosian’s ace-six offsuit called in the big blind. Both of them hit aces and Vousden flopped a nut flush draw that well along with his pair. He continued with 220,000 before being called as he narrowly covered Matirosian.
Vousden’s Victory
Matirosian called another wager on the turn that brought in the river. Unfortunately, it completed Vousden’s flush and helped him move all in. Matirosian called fast but got eliminated.
Novak used ace-five offsuit to ship in eight big blinds while Vousden used king-jack to call from the big blind. The latter flopped a flush draw and still lagged. Novak got a pair from the turn that maintained his lead before Vousden set up a heads-up match after rivering a flush.
The battle lasted for 15 minutes and the last hand and the table finally played out. Astedt held pocket nines as he was ahead of Vousden but he had to hold against his ace-ten offsuit.
Vousden paired up on a flop and denied Astedt a crucial nine. The former won the tournament while the latter finished as a runner-up and took home $230,800.
