NBA Showdown: Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Betting Pick

This is a rematch of last year’s first-round playoff series, which went all the way to seven games. Some new players, including George Hill, Brook Lopez, and Gordon Hayward, will now be involved in the battle, and it is sure to be a fun game.

Giannis is ready to try and help Milwaukee to their 22nd win in 31 games, while Boston will be trying to bounce back from an “embarrassing” loss to a 7-24 Suns team the other night.

Bucks:

They recently moved Dellavedova and Henson to Cleveland to bring in both Jason Smith and George Hill. Eric Bledsoe has had a much better second season for this team compared to last year, and his rivalry with Terry Rozier seems to be over. Giannis is on pace to break the NBA record, as well as his own, for the must dunks in a single season. He continues to get inside and make his shots right at the basket. What a career he has had to date, though he still lacks that jumper.

Brook Lopez had added a new dimension to the offense, with a bunch of shooters playing around Giannis. Mike Budenholzer has wasted no time implementing his system, making Milwaukee one of the teams shooting the most threes in the league. It has yielded amazing results, as Milwaukee is right up there with the Raptors as the two best teams in the East.

Celtics:

They have changed their lineup a few times, but it seems that having Marcus Smart starting alongside Kyrie Irving and bringing Gordon Hayward off the bench seems to be what works the best. Marcus Morris has continued to knock his shots down at a high clip, while Rob “timelord” Williams has been getting some run. The recent loss of Aron Baynes for a month will have a negative impact on their defense and rim protection, but this is a great chance for both Williams and Daniel Theis, now healthy after suffering a season-ending injury a year ago.

Kyrie Irving has been looking like the superstar he is this season, averaging 23 points per game, while also averaging a career-high 6.4 assists. He has adjusted well to being the top star on a team full of quality players, whereas he co-starred with LeBron for three years. They should be getting back Al Horford soon, and when this team is fully healthy, they truly have an endless array of weapons.

Milwaukee gets the W on the road

Yes, we’re going with the Bucks, who will be leaving Boston with their 22nd dub of the season. Giannis will have a 35-point night to help power his team to the win, while Brook Lopez hits five threes, and Khris Middleton breaks out of a funk.

Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving will both have big nights, however, it will not be enough for their team to get the job done. It will be Boston’s third straight defeat.
