Probably the most important game of this new NFL week is a cross-conference matchup with the Minnesota Vikings on the road against the Buffalo Bills.
These two teams are leading their divisions, and they continue to impress week after week, although the Bills just laid an egg against the division rival Jets.
All the smiles have been out in Minnesota as the Vikings continue to dominate their opponents in close games and find ways to pull off victories in the most unlikely circumstances.
They are now an overwhelming favorite to win the NFC North, with the Packers falling by the wayside and the Bears losing a close game against Miami.
In terms of desperation, the Bills probably need this one more than anything. If they lose two weeks in a row, they might lose the division lead to Miami or New York, who have both beaten this team already.

It was expected that the Vikings would be able to compete this year but to be this dominant in close games and string together so many victories feels unprecedented.

It does finally seem like the immovable Josh Allen is a little bit banged up after that game, and if he is hurt, the Bills might be in trouble.
Even just limiting his practice time could make a huge difference in their schedule the rest of the way, and they don’t have too much of a cushion in their conference.
The Bills still have a top offense in the league, and they’ll be able to score with any team on any given week, but this may not be as pretty as we think.
