World Poker Tour Ambassadors Bring Meet-UP Game to the Upcoming WPT Championship

Two World Poker Tour (WPT) representatives will host their popular Meet-Up Game (MUG) during the 2022 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. The famous vloggers will begin the series with several cash games in which poker players are welcome to participate. The series will begin on December 1, where players will start registering at 8 am before the games at Wynn poker room begin at 10 am.

Bringing the Action-Packed Game to Wynn

Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen have traveled the world to host their Meet-Up Games in the last five years. Interestingly, filling up the tables for the game has never been a problem. In fact, you have to arrive early at the Wynn Las Vegas if you want a seat at the action-packed MUG games.

The WPT World Championship event begins on December 1, 2022. Besides MUG games, the poker operator will host a no-limit hold’em game going for $600, featuring a $500k guaranteed prize pool.

The prize pool is just a fraction of the historic guaranteed prize pool of $15,000,000. Starting December 12, the WPT World Championship Main Event will kick off.

It will run through December 20, rewarding over $15 million. With a buy-in of $10,400, you can participate in the largest prize pool in live poker’s history.

If you cannot afford these buy-ins, you can play The Premier Meet-Up Game: WPT Poker Icons Experience. There are 26 tables at Wynn reserved for the MUG series. You can play no-limit hold ’em and pot-limit Omaha games with only $1-$3 and $2-$5, respectively.

Neeme announced through a press release that the two were always planning to expand the scope of their meet-up games. He noted that the WPT World Championship provided the best opportunity to expand the scope by getting everyone interested in participating. Neeme projected that the Premier Meet-Up Game would be a blast, with worldwide players joining in the fun.

Neeme and Owen started hosting MUG games in Las Vegas several years ago. The game’s popularity led the poker vloggers to expand to other cities, including Austin in Texas and Reno in Nevada.

They even hosted the game at The Lodge, a poker club in Texas that they own alongside Doug Polk. Neeme and Owen have also taken the game to Cambodia with the WPT.

Meet-Up Games

Neeme and Owen use the Meet-Up Games to meet their fans and play poker. Usually, the venue hosting the game has several tables. Owen and Neeme move to as many tables as possible to play with different players and interact one-on-one.

Owen recently won his largest game, taking the fourth position in the Stormx Invitational hosted at PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. He won over $58k, which you could get your hands on for playing in the next MUG event on December 1.

Owen noted that the last MUG event in Las Vegas was a hit. He thanked everyone that attended the meet-up, including ambassador Steve Aoki. Owen is anticipating meeting more people in the upcoming WPT Championship, hoping it will be an even bigger event.

Meanwhile, playing at WPT Global can win your way to the WPT World Championship. The poker room is available in over 50 countries, allowing everyone to participate in the upcoming WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas or online poker events.
