Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns Game 2 Betting Preview

Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns Game 2 Betting Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns are ready to do battle for the second game of this exciting 2021 NBA finals. The first one saw Phoenix come away with the wind, and they’re young guys all stepping up as needed. Chris Paul was sensational, and Devin Booker did just enough to help his team pick up the win. This is a squad that nobody wants to mess with, and the Bucks might be in for a ride.

Milwaukee has the talent they need and a healthy Giannis Antetokounmpo, but still, they may need more. 16 three-pointers made does not seem like it was enough as they still fell by 13 points in the series opener. In order to turn things around, Brook Lopez he’s going to have to prove that he can stay on the court and being an effective playmaker on both ends. Because if not, this team might be in peril.

For both sides, the bench will need to play better. Cam Johnson and Pat Connaughton are capable of making things happen, but they are not the most consistent players in the world. If Cam can get more attempts from distance, though, look for scoring numbers to surge.

Jeff Teague should probably be getting more playing time than Bryn Forbes.

ODDS

The spread for Game 2 is set at PHX -5.5. The over/under is sitting at 219.5 points.

BUCKS SEEKING GAME 2 WIN

For the third consecutive round, the Milwaukee Bucks find themselves down in the series. Winning openers have not been their forte, and that trend continued as they just could not get it done in the valley in Game 1. If they want to turn it around, they will need to really dig deep.

Jrue Holiday is the player who needs to step up the most. He has the ability to get hot as a score while also facilitating as well as any other guard in this series. If Holiday can stay locked in like that while also playing his elite brand of defense, his contributions are going to be huge. They traded a lot to bring him in and already paid in the big box. Time to show Phoenix just why they did that.

Look for other bench guys to step up and also play more.

SUNS SEEK 2-0 LEAD

The Phoenix Suns need just three more wins to claim the first-ever NBA title. It is a very exciting time in Arizona right now, despite the fact that the temperatures are breaking thermometers. This is a team with an elusive back cord that has busted everybody in their path to this point.

Suns coach Monty Williams was not considered a good head coach during his time with the New Orleans Pelicans. But as soon as he got to Phoenix, he helped build a winning culture. They could not find the right head coach, and nobody could stick. But this man has, and he has his guys fired up and playing the best basketball the city has seen in three decades.

BUCKS WIN!

Milwaukee will claim the victory as they even the series up. 30 and 15 for Giannis.
