Buffalo Bills at New Orleans Saints Betting Preview

Buffalo Bills at New Orleans Saints Betting Preview

The Bills and Saints will meet at the Superdome to conclude the day of Thanksgiving NFL. The Lions and Cowboys get to host the first two games each year, while the third game always changes up, the one mystery every year as to which team gets hosting duties. And though injuries are going to be an issue for both sides, a good football game will be played.

After running through the AFC East last year and getting off to a hot start this season, too, the Bills have cooled off, and it really is not too much of a surprise. For all the talent they have, and however well-coached they are, the run game is still a problem, and it is surprising that they opted not to address it during the offseason. Matt Breida does not change much for them.

As for New Orleans, they will be without their top running back Alvin Kamara yet again, in addition to Ryan Ramczyk on the offensive line and some key defenders. In a year where Jameis Winston was supposed to prove that he can be the guy, it has been Trevor Siemian getting the bulk of the starts due to Winston’s ACL injury. And it hasn’t been so pretty.

This promises to be an exciting football game and a good one to sit down to with all of the holiday pies.

Betting Odds & Lines

The spread for Thursday night is set at BUF -6.5. The over/under is set at 45 points. The BUF moneyline is -267, while NO is +220.

Bills Seek Holiday Cheer

Being 6-4 to this point in the season would definitely be qualified as a letdown for the Bills. They were an elite team through and through in 2020 and have not been up to the same standards this time around. Different issues have arisen, and they have failed to play good football when they have needed to.

Josh Allen surprisingly came into the year as the MVP favorite, which was putting too much faith into him. As good as he has been, the man needs a little help and is not your typical quarterback.

The defense will need to be ready, and they will have to prep for a big Stefon Diggs performance to carry them.

Saints Aim for Holiday Win

Everybody loves a good Thanksgiving feast, including the players of the Saints, who hope to eat out on the field in this one. At 5-5, they are tied with the Vikings and 49ers, who will meet one another on Sunday to help break some of the issues with that record to this point.

This is a critical game for a team that has not been good recently. They are relatively mediocre in so many areas but have a chance in prime time to make some noise. Can Siemian and company rise to the occasion, or will Saints fans be throwing the remote out the window after shutting their TVs off?

Saints Win!

An upset, for sure. New Orleans will get it done at home on Thanksgiving, meaning each team here comes out with a 6-5 record.
