The Winning Poker Network tournament has an Online Super Series. However, the brand is doing something different this year. It will make the series a combination of two other components to create OSS Cub3d.
The first is the Mini Online Super Series (MOSS) for low roller buy-in tournament series. The other is the Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS), ideal for high roller players.
So, players will choose to play Online Super Series, MOSS, or BOSS. It will be a total of 268 tournaments across the three series. The three series guarantees are set at $20 million, while the contest is slated to start on August 1 and end on August 29, 2021.
A Breakdown of the Three Series
The three series will play simultaneously. First, there will be a kickoff game for all the series. This will jumpstart players’ adrenaline prepared to roll into the respective series. This kickoff match that occurs on August 1 requires a buy-in of $55 for NLHE and has a guaranteed prize of $150k. Later that day, the MOSS series will kick-off.
The first day of MOSS will feature a high, medium, and low buy-in of $55, $23, and $9, respectively. All of these matches will use the poker knock-out feature.
The MOSS event will happen through August 9. Some events will have several buy-in levels for the exact match.
OSS matches will begin on August 9, with buy-ins ranging from as low as $20 going all the way to $600 for the first three events. This multi-level buy-in will attract more players.
The biggest guarantee prize is $400k for the event occurring on August 15. The lowest guarantee prize is $40k for the low rollers players playing the first-day event happening on August 9. There is also a 1 million guarantee with a buy-in of $600 occurring on August 22.
Some buy-ins are enormous. But, satellites will allow more players to qualify for various matches for a less amount of buy-in.
The other series is the BOSS targeting high-stake poker players. There will be satellites to enter Boss matches.
