Just like the wunderkind from 2016, Fedor Holz, Justin had a fantastic season which mainly looks like to Fedor’s year – but it is even better. One of the main reasons for this sudden jump was the tournament that he played called Event #78: $1 Million Big One for One Drop. The final amount he won was $10 million which gave him a boost on the all-time money list and he emerged in the first place.
Seven weeks ago, Bonomo won $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl. The final prize for this tournament was $5,000,000. This was a fantastic result and by the end of May, Bonomo had approximately $14 million in earnings. With only five months since the beginning of the year, it was not difficult to conclude that Bonomo was going to create another miracle and win even more money.
Let’s also take a look at the different perspective – the bracelet perspective. From this point, it was also a very successful year for Bonomo who won a bracelet in $10,000 Heads-Up Championship in addition to the bracelet from The Big One for One Drop.
We did a little maths and came up with some interesting figures. Bonomo is approximately 198 days in the year and he managed to earn a total of $24,945,435. This means that he earned $125,987 every day from the beginning of the year. That also means that his hourly rate is the amazing $5,249. To be more precise Bonobo earns $87.49 per minute which is $1.46 per second. It is safe to conclude that 2018 has been a really good year for him so far!
When it comes to the Poker All-Time Money List, Bonomo currently occupies the first place while the second place is taken by the living legend called Daniel Negreanu. Daniel has a total of $39,656,197 in live tournament earnings. However, there is one huge difference between him and Bonom and that is the length of their poker career. Negreanu made his first cash in poker in 1997 while Bonomo did that almost 8 years later in 2005. Also, the number of cashes is 291 which is almost double compared to Bonomo’s 153.
The most tournament that affects this list the most is definitely The Big One for One Drop as 6 out of 10 players from this list were the winners of this event at one point. Some of the biggest wins in this event were by Antonio Esfandiari who won $18,346,673 in 2012 and Daniel Colman who won $15,306,668 in 2014.
