The University at Buffalo in New York has officially started enrollment for their online training in casino gaming. The University paired up with Gatlin Education Services to create the program and provide the training. The program consists of three courses; Casino Poker Dealer, Casino Blackjack Dealer and Casino Baccarat Dealer. The courses are supplied by the founder of the Johnny Chan Academy and presented by Gatlin Education Services.
The purpose of the training is to provide students with the information and tools needed to begin a career in the casino industry. The program gets its direction from World Series of Poker Champion Johnny Chan. The program uses many methods such as instructional video and interactive multimedia to teach each course.
Since each course is available online, a student can learn at their own pace. They can access their classes at any time and any place making learning easy, even for the busiest of people. The courses cover basic essentials needed for each course such as shuffling and limit and betting procedures needed for card games. Students not only learn skills for a new career they also receive assistance from the advisors and help in job placement.
