Fifth place was occupied by Roman Shainiuk for $32,271, and Paul Chai ended up fourth, winning $43,198. The last player to go out before heads-up play was Travis Fujisaka, who managed to win $58,653.
Richardson and Arish Nat started heads-up play prepared, but Richardson had an advantage because he had a 2-1 chip lead. However, it was not an easy task, as Nat managed to even things out, making the game last for a while. Nevertheless, Richardson won in the end, with Nat earning a total of $80,761.
