Another World Series of Poker Circuit is completed and it took place at Horseshoe Tunica. The last event to be played was a $1,700 Main Event which concluded on Monday. There were a total of 693 entries who managed to create a solid prize pool which was $968,085.
There were a lot of ups and downs during the Main Event, but a familiar face put on the golden ring in the end. Kyle Cartwright won yet another WSOPC event and earned his eighth ring in his poker career. Apart from the ring, Cartwright also managed to earn a total of $198,451 and a seat to the 2019 Global Casino Championship.
Cartwright is also familiar with winning Main Events, as this is his fourth WSOPC Main Event victory after he ended up second in Event #9: $600 NLH Big Blind Ante where he managed to earn $22,381. It was finally nice to see Cartwright play some real-life poker instead of sitting in front of poker machines — a hobby that he successfully managed to make profit as he landed three royal flushes in less than two months.

What Does Cartwright Think About His Victory?
Cartwright stated that he was very content with the victory. He added that had been traveling for a while and had finally managed to actually win a ring after some time as it had become increasingly more difficult to win one. Furthermore, Cartwright added that his mother was among the audience and that it had been great having his family supporting him while he played poker.
The Final Day
There were a total of ten people who made it to the final table, and some of the players who didn’t yet manage to make it to the cash list are Dave Alfa, Josh Turner, Justin Sharpe, Kevin Eyster, Denise Pratt, and Marvel Peace.
The first player to hit the rail in the final table was Vincent Moscati, and he was closely followed by Michael Sanders and Joseph Herbert. The seventh place was reserved for Jon Bennett, and Damjan Radanov ended up in sixth place.
Darren Martin ended up fifth after going all in with a king-queen only to stumble upon the ace-queen from Johnny Landreth. He was followed by James Naifeh in fourth place, and Landreth himself was the last one to hit the rail before Steve Klein and Kyle Cartwright were able to start their heads-up play.
Cartwright had a 2:1 chip lead at the start of the last part of the event and managed to wrap things up shortly. Klein went all in with pocket fours which were faced against an ace and a ten from Cartwright. Things were going in Klein’s favor on the flop and the turn, but the river shoed another ten and that meant Cartwright was up for a win!
