Oklahoma City Community College announced on Monday October 15th that they will now provide online Casino Gaming Courses. The courses are available for immediate enrollment and the program contains three courses. The Johnny Chan Academy is providing the courses along with help from Gatlin Education Services.
The three courses available for enrollment are Casino Poker Dealer, Casino Blackjack Dealer and Casino Baccarat Dealer. The courses deal with the basic fundamentals involved with each career path. A student will also be able to learn from interactive multimedia and instructional video emails and be advised of the techniques and mannerisms for each course.
When a student has completed the program they will receive help with finding a job and will also be able to record a video to play for potential employers to help better display what they have learned.

Now, students can learn the skills necessary to be successful in their dream job,” said Stephen Gatlin, founder of Fort Worth-based Gatlin Education Services. “With the popularity and growth of casinos in recent years, students in the program will be training for some of the most glamorous and well-paying careers available.”
Many schools across the country are considering adding this program to their curriculum. The Johnny Chan Academy has already partnered with the South Plains College and are in talks with other places. Recently the University at Buffalo stated they would be partnered with the program but within a day retracted their statement due to disagreements.
