MILLIONS #13 & Knockout: Joao Oliviera and Pedro Madeira Win

Joao Oliviera continues to dominate the world of online poker, having won another big title. This time, he took part in the MILLIONS event and joined many other poker players in winning a title in this prestigious tournament.

Apart from Oliviera, several new winners emerged recently in the MILLIONS festival, including Andras Nemeth, Pedo Madeira, Pascal Lefrancois, and Brener Henrique Vicente.

Let us take a look at how Joao Oliviera and Pedro Madeira dominated the final table.

MILLIONS Online Event #13

The 13th event of MILLIONS Online was a 6-max competition that required a $3,200 buy-in and attracted a total of 100 entrants, who managed to generate the prize pool of $300,000. It just so happens that the guaranteed prize was also $300,000, meaning the numbers matched, which is not a common sight in poker tournaments.

After the first day of intense poker action, most players hit the rail, and the top 17 remained to test each other’s poker luck and skills. The guaranteed lowest prize at that moment was $6,383.

Joao Oliviera began his run right away, as he took three and a half hours to emerge on top and win the final title, receiving a total of $74,937 as the final prize. He managed to beat Carlos Henrique Ferreira Da Silva in the heads-up play, but Da Silva had to settle for the consolation prize of $49,929. Here is how things looked like during the final table.

The first player to hit the rail at the final table was Georgios Zisimopoulos from Malta, who managed to win a total of $11,303 for his effort. He was followed by Canada’s Kevin Rabicho, who ended up sixth for $13,956.

The fifth place was reserved for Elio Fox, a popular poker player who accessed the platform from Mexico. Fox managed to win a total of $17,718.

Julio Chia from Austria was the next player to leave the game, winning $23,014. The last player to hit the rail before the heads-up play was Adam Hendrix, who managed to snatch a total of $34,855.

MILLIONS Online #13 Knockout

Pedro Madeira managed to win the MILLIONS Online #13 Knockout event and receive a total of $55,699 as his final prize. The buy-in required $1,600, and the event attracted a total of 156 entrants, falling short of approximately $14,000 to reach the $250,000 in guaranteed prizes. The top 27 players were eligible for receiving cash, in addition to the money they earned from bounties.

Madeira’s final opponent was Evaldas Aniulis from Lithuania, who managed to earn a total of $30,148.

The first player to leave the final table was Samuel Vousden, with $9,958 in his pocket. He was followed by Russia’s Maksim Bukreev for $8,374. Bukrev won less in bounties, and that’s why his final prize was smaller.

Another Russian, Aleksei Barkov, ended up fifth for $12,920, and Giuseppe Di Stasio followed him for $15,229. The last player to leave the game before the heads-up was Daan Mulders from Austria, who won a total of $21,799.
