Action Highlights

AUTISPOSTI held three big blinds when they reached the final table. Thus, they were the first finalist to get busted after using ace-jack to move before losing to GoodStoryDMG’s ten-nine. The latter landed a ten on the river.

MyNumber7 followed AUTISPOSTI in seventh place after their pocket nines lost to Mukonga’s aces. The former lost several big blinds, and their stack was reduced. They used king-queen of hearts to make a min-raise remaining with 0.2 big blinds only.

Mukonga used ace-nine to call, prompting MyNumber7 to wager their last chips. But, the two players exited the tournament after an ace on the all-spade flop occurred.

Their departure guaranteed each of the last five finalists a five-figure payout. UpToNoG00d_ got busted in fifth place with $11,818 after losing blinds to LegitNit.

The latter used king-queen to make a small blind shove, and the former used queen-jack to make a three big blind-call from the big blind. But, a king on the turn forced _UpToNoG00d_ to draw dead and leave the table.

Jerry “Perrymeisen” Odeen followed _UpToNoG00d_ in third place. He used six-four of diamonds to defend his stack after GoodStoryDMG used pocket eights to make a button min-raise.

A three-jack-six flop prompted Odeen to check and later make a 9.1 big blinds all-in check-raise. GoodStoryDMG called as their pocket eights dominated and eliminated Odeen with $16,068.

LegitNit used ace-queen of diamonds to wager their last chips against Luiz1958’s dominated ace-eight of hearts. The latter paired eight on the flop and sent the former packing in third place.

LegitNit’s exit setup a tough match between GoodStoryDMG and Luiz1958. The duo battled it out for an hour, each of them eyeing the top prize. Yet, GoodStoryDMG had an 88:57 big blind lead over Luiz1958.

Luiz1958 used king-ten to min-raise in the final hand, and GoodStoryDMG used jack-eight suited to call. The latter made a jack-four-nine flop check and later check-raised a one-quarter pot continuation wager that Luiz1958 called.

Still, an eight on the turn helped GoodStoryDMG improve to two pair before wagering a half-pot. A king landed on the river, and GoodStoryDMG placed a large bet that sent Luiz1958 home in second place with $30,131.
