Bryn Kenney (All-Time Poker Money list Leader) Accused of Running Cult-Like Cheating Operation

There have been several cheating scandals stories going around online about online poker. But, with the recent interview on the Doug Polk Podcast featuring Martin Zamani, cheating scandals have graduated from downright insanity into pure absurdity.

Earlier last week, Justin Bonomo, Alex Foxen, and Chance Kornuth aired their cheating allegations against Ali Imsirovic. Ali is the 2021 Player of the Year and multiple poker event winner. He was accused of using real-time assistance tools and colluding in live poker matches to play online games.

On Thursday, the all-time poker money list leader Bryn Kenney was the center of discussion on the Doug Polk Podcast. According to Hendon Mob, Bryn has earned over $57.2 million. Zamani faulted the player for running a cult-like poker cheating project at GGPoker.

Shortly before the interview, Polk was warned of legal action through Bryn’s lawyer if he participated in spreading negative information about him. Polk did not heed the warning as he began the interview ten minutes after getting the warning.

Poker Cults

Zamani has earlier tweeted about the issue. He noted that the poker industry was in the midst of calling out cheaters, naming Bryn and his horses. Zamani’s tweet also indicates that Bryn’s horses are forced to conspire on GGPoker, especially during satellite events.

Zamani also said that Kenney hired horses to play as a team to conspire in online poker matches. Zamani had met Kenney through World Poker Tournament champion Dennis Blieden. Dennis is currently in jail for 6.5 years for executing a $2.7 million fraud scheme.

Zamani was one of the hired horses but wanted to come clean after participating in cheating. He shared some of the things horses were forced to do, including ghosting, real-time assistance, and collusion in satellites.

The most enthralling part is the conditions the horses had to be in for cheating to occur. During the podcast interview, Zamani admitted he was high. He gave Polk and viewers a hint that Kenney somehow led a cult.

Zamani noted that those who participated in cheating at PartyPoker and GGPoker were obligated to do as they were told or be removed from receiving a share of the money. He also said that horses had to live a specific lifestyle, as described by Kenney. Shockingly, Kenney required his horses to eat a Vegan diet and obey his demands.

According to Zamani, Kenney would criticize players (horses) that did not adhere to his standards. He expressed an instant where a player who went out for a Taco Bell and was scolded for it.

The Epitome of the Cult

Zamani had posted a comment about Kenney sending him to the shaman for a “painful ritual.” Polk referred to this tweet and asked Zamani to explain the comment.

Zamani explained that he met a lady who noted that she was a warlord’s wife, a killer, a thief, and a liar. Zamani continued interacting with the shaman, who later suggested that he should cleanse himself.

Shaman suggested a ritual called Kambo for cleansing, suggesting that it was good for Zamani but slightly violent. She would take incense on Zamani’s skin and blister it. The shaman would then cut the blister with a sharp object to open it up before adding poison from a frog.

Polk was surprised by the explanation, asking for clarification about putting poison on an open wound. Zamani confirmed it but noted that he did not allow the shaman to perform the ritual. For now, Zamani’s words are just claims, and we have to wait until everything is verified.
