Ali Imsirovic Wins the $25k NLH Event

Ali Imsirovic managed to make yet another triumph and top a prestigious online poker event on March 3. Namely, he emerged a winner in MILLIONS Online #21 High Roller Turbo, where he managed to snatch a total of $97,516 for his prize.

The High Roller Turbo Event required the buy-in of $2,100, and it lasted less than six hours, with the top 11 players getting paid from the prize pool. The total number of recorded entrants was 65, with the final prize pool being $325,000.

The player who burst the money bubble was Pascal Lefrancois, who ended his run in 12th place. The Canadian made sure that all the remaining players could receive at least $11,016 as a prize.

The first two players to leave the game after the burst were David Coleman and Sam Greenwood on 11th and 10th place. They were followed by Yuri Dzivielevski and Christopher Brewer, who both made a total of $12,301. After Brewer left the game, it was time to start the final table action with the top seven players. All the remaining players had the guaranteed prize of $14,073.

The first player to leave the final table and win the minimum prize of $14,074 was Ivan Zufic from Croatia. He was then followed by Christoph Vogelsang, another popular poker player, who ended his run in sixth place, earning a total of $16,823.

After that, it was time for Dario Sammartino to end his run in fifth place, earning $21,327. One of the biggest of Sammartino’s achievements is ending a runner-up in the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event.

The remaining four players were all some of the most popular poker players in the world at the moment. As a matter of fact, it’s safe to say that the entire even was star-studded, as many important players were part of it.

Andras Nemeth ended up in fourth place. The Hungarian won a total of $28,279 for his effort. He was soon followed by Daniel Dvoress in third place, earning $39,526.

The two remaining players who clashed head-to-head were Wiktor Malinowski and Ali Imsirovic. The difference between the first and second place was $37,000 in prizes, but players didn’t discuss any possibility to discuss the possible prize split. Instead, they continued playing until one of them became a winner. In the end, Ali Imsirovic was the one to celebrate, with Malinowski earning $60,815 as a consolation prize.
