Action at the Final Table

Kenneth Edberg got busted first at the final table after using ace-queen to make a 140,000 min-raise from the button. Pedro Garagnani used pocket tens to three-bet 577,500 from a big blind.

Edberg shoved 2,577,943 while Garagnani called. The latter got the flip from a king-high board.

Crush t0ads left the event in eighth place and got its last five-figure prize. Garagnani used ace-king to make a 154,000 raise from a late position and crush t0ads three-bet 455,000 from the cutoff using pocket jacks.

Garagnani four-bet enough and moved crush t0ads all-in. The latter called all-in before losing a king on the river after flopping a club flush draw.

Niko Soininen finished seventh in the 50,000/100,000/12,500a level. He open-shoved 911,456 from the button, and Garagnani used pocket nines to look him up in the small blind. Soininen left the table after five community cards as Garagnani’s stack increased to over 12.6 million chips.

Pablo Silva used ace-king to min-raise 240,000 from under the gun and later called Rodrigo Sirichuk’s 1,341,238 shove using pocket jacks. Yet, an ace on the flop and another ace on the turn ended Sirichuk’s rail in sixth place.

Ole Schemion Almost Wins His Third Super MILLION$ Title

Ole Schemion got busted in fifth place, and his dream to win the third Super MILLION$ title died. He lost most of his big blinds after using ace-four to attack the blinds, and Kulev used pocket aces to wake up.

Schemion used king-four to put his remaining stack in the middle after Aram Oganyan used a lowly ten-seven to set him in a fight for the blinds. The former left the table after the latter got a seven from the flop.

Silva committed his remaining nine big blinds using queen-jack from the small blind while Kulev used ace-four to call. None of them paired their hole cards, but Kulev’s ace-high got the pot. He later eliminated Oganyan in third place hence setting up heads-up action against Garagnani.

Garagnani folded a jack-ten, and Oganyan used a dominating king-queen of diamonds to call. The former’s hand was the best in the eight-high flop, and a jack on the turn earned Kulev outs to a straight like a nine on the river. It ended Oganyan’s rail and gave Kulev a huge stack lead over his opponent.

Surprisingly, the battle didn’t last for long as it ended after one hand. Garagnani used eight-seven to move all-in, and Kulev used ace-four to call. The latter got an ace on the turn and made Garagnani draw dead, thus sending him home as a runner-up with $414,961.
