The most recent one was the XL Autumn Series. It was a success. Now, 888poker is back with another tournament, dubbed the ChampionChip series.
ChampionChip Series Schedule
The 2023 ChampionChip series is designed to attract low to middle-budget players. The event kicked off yesterday, October 22, 2023, and runs through October 31. It features 30 games and daily side events.
Some games have a buy-in of as low as $3.30, while the highest is $60. 888poker promises to reward around $500,000 collectively.
The tournament started with the daily side event dubbed $6,000 PKO Rumble for $16.5 buy-in. However, the opening ceremony event kicked off at 3:00 P.M. GMT. Event #01 – $25,000 Opening Ceremony Mystery Bounty had a buy-in of $33.

There are over 27 games with a buy-in of $11 or less. The Main Event has a buy-in of $60. This is pretty fair, considering the guaranteed prize is $200,000.
The Main Event has several Day 1s. They start as early as October 24, 2023. Day 2 is scheduled for October 30, followed by the highlight of the tournament on October 31 to get the ChampionChip Champion.
More about the Main Event
The blinds and antes for the Main Event start at 30/60/7a. Each player will start with 12,000 chips and play 12-minute levels.
Each Day 1 event runs until the end of the 18th level. The surviving players will progress to Day 2. The Day 2 event is designed to eliminate players, leaving only nine to pay the final table. Notably, this event will be streamed on 888poker Twitch channel.
