MGM Offers Most Expensive VIP Packages in History As Lady Gaga Set To Return With 9-Show Residency

MGM Is Offering Its Most Expensive VIP Packages in History As Lady Gaga Is Set To Return With 9-Show Residency

Lady Gaga is one of the most adored music artists in America. Having sold 120 million albums, the lady is one of the best-selling performers. Lady Gaga and her partner MGM Resorts are taking advantage of her popularity to see if she will attract a huge number of her devout fans to the casino in an upcoming event on the Las Vegas Strip.

MGM Park Theater has been home for Lady Gaga since 2018 when she signed the deal with MGM Resorts. This October, Gaga is returning to the premises with a nine-show residency.

Those planning to attend her show will pay a record price for a premium ticket covering entertainment and accommodations at the casino. MGM announced the show earlier this week, explaining that there will be five VIP packages. The highest of these packages will go for $10,619.

There is also an exclusive package dubbed “I Want Your Everything.” The package is ideal for four people. Each gets a VIP entry to the Park Theater, cocktails, welcome snack basket, three nights in a penthouse suite at Aria or Bellagio, Lady Gaga swag bad, and show lanyards, among other things.

The queen of the music industry will be performing at MGM Resorts in a residency going by “Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano.” Music from the Great American Songbook, Gaga’s hit songs, Tin Pan Alley, Hollywood movie musicals, and Broadway musicals will feature in the show.

Lady Gaga’s Show

The Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano at Park MGM will begin on October 14, 2021. She will perform on other dates, including 16th, 17th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 28th, 30th, and 31st.

The casino has requested that all people planning to attend the show be fully vaccinated. Otherwise, you will have to prove that you have tested negative for the coronavirus. Before entering the property, visitors will have to produce evidence showing that they are fully vaccinated under the Center for Disease Control guidelines.

Those not vaccinated will still enter. But, they will have to produce a document showing they took a COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours prior to entering the show.

The casino will also avoid touching visitors’ items, including vaccination records. Thus, visitors will have to upload this information on an app called CLEAR. A supervisor will then look at the record on the app eliminating the need to come into contact with visitors’ papers.

Las Vegas Review-Journal has reported that the “Everything” package is the most expensive ticket offered at MGM Resorts for a residency show.

Vegas Is Glowing With Entertainment

Since the removal of travel restrictions, Vegas is budding with entertainment. Millions have already landed in southern Nevada for various forms of entertainment. Even with the reimplementation of face masks for all people in an indoor venue, the demand for entertainment is still high.

Casino gaming is one of the popular forms of entertainment in Nevada. As such, the state’s gross gaming revenue for July was a record of $1.38 billion. Las Vegas accounted for $1.16 billion of the $1.38 billion.

With domestic travel returning to pre-pandemic, MGM and Gaga believe their premium tickets will be up for grabs. This is esp because there are cheaper VIP packages.

One of these packages is dubbed one of Gaga’s songs, “Oh La La.” It is a $2249 ticket for two people. The package covers two nights in a queen or king room at Park MGM, $200 for food and beverages, and access to the Lady Gaga show.
