Fifth Street Gaming (FSG) operates JefeBet, a popular entertainment and gaming brand in the United States. It held a groundbreaking ceremony on September 21 for Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe. Jefebet mainly targets Spanish-speaking Americans.
The FSG’s Lucky Club is at 3227 Civic Center Drive, and it released a statement indicating that it will be renamed Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe. It plans to complete the renovation project before next year, and it will be the FSG’s second casino to own and run besides Silver Nugget Casino.
The Renovation Project
Ojos Locos is based in Dallas. It operates in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Also, it will soon launch its first location in Nevada.
The Las Vegas venue was formally called the Lucky Club Casino. Even so, it has started transforming into a Latino-focused gaming property that involves different parties. Seth Schorr, (FSG’s CEO), Ojos Locos9 dining partner), the Las Vegas Latino Chamber of Commerce delegates, and Pamela Goynes-Brown (North Las Vegas’s Councilwoman) attended the last meetup.
Schorr stated that Latinos occupy about 18.7 percent of the United States and 28 percent of Nevada. This unique property will be the first one in the region.
Some of its distinct features include a restaurant, sports bar, and bookmaker that will be in one layout rather than being separate entities. The property will provide Hispanic and Latino communities with gambling, entertainment, beverages, and food.
Rich Hicks’ Ojos Locos CEO stated that they are offering their services in the renovated property and partnering with JefeBet. It will extend their business foundation.
Ojos Locos was designed to offer a thrilling sports cantina to Latinos where they can relax, dine and party with their loved ones, or cheer their favorite teams. The renovation project includes upgrading the casino’s interior as it will have over 200 extra gaming machines on its floor, a sports bar where Ojos Locos will offer food, and a nightclub. Moreover, the hotel and casino will provide a 10,000 square foot floor space, a restaurant with 300 seats, and 10,000 square feet of outdoor and indoor entertainment space.
