King’s Resort Is Back with Live Poker Schedule for the Summer

The Czech Republic was one of the countries that imposed the strictest measures to fight off the COVID-19 pandemic. That also meant closing all the casinos, including the iconic King’s Resort, located next to the border with Germany in a beautiful town called Rozvadov.

The measures imposed by the Czechian government were more than effective, as the country now has less than 3,000 active cases. The government relaxed the restrictive measures, allowing other European citizens to travel in an out of the country. Since King’s Resort is widely regarded as the most popular poker room in Europe, it was only logical that its officials would come up with the summer schedule.

King’s Resort opened its doors once again and visitors from other European countries are free to visit the casino as long as they respect the social distancing guidelines. In fact, this is the first time since the casino reduced its operations on March 3 that players from countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Hungary, and other EU members are able to take part in live poker events in this casino.

The casino also released its summer schedule for live poker, meaning there will be plenty of chances to play the popular card game in the good old ways — sitting at the poker table, surrounded by other players and the dealer.
King’s Resort released an impressive lineup of poker competitions that will take place during the summer in the most significant European poker room. One of the first competitions that is going to happen soon is the PLO High Roller.

Let’s find out more about it.

PLO High Roller in King’s Resort

The Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller event will start on June 20 and last for two days. This is the first top-level live poker event to take place after the coronavirus lockdown and it will require the buy-in of €2,500, and will offer €100,000 in guaranteed prizes. Moreover, it will feature unlimited re-entries.

This event will be a warm-up event for many poker festivals to come, with the first one being the Balkan Poker Circuit. Moreover, the lineup of potential players who would travel to King’s Resort is already filled with big names such as Serger Barbarez, Marek Blasko, Harry Casagrande, and the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe bracelet winner Besim Hot.

Leon Tsoukernik is the current director of King’s Resort in Rozvadov, and he is also a very passionate poker player who loves taking part in poker events that take place in his casino. Although he hasn’t confirmed whether he would take part in one of the upcoming tournaments or not, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the felt.

The live poker summer is going to be engaging in Europe, but there aren’t any live poker events in the US yet, as the country is still heavily affected by the pandemic.
