David Jackson Wins $598,173 in $3K Freezeout Hence Denying Phil Hellmuth His 17th WSOP Bracelet

The World Series of Poker is set to begin later this summer in the United States, but there will also be some action taking place in other parts of the world as well. The 2024 WSOP Europe schedule has now been released, and it should lead to some great poker action.

All of the action in Europe will be held from September 18th through October 9th, and there are some unique tournament options set to take place. This tournament is going to be held at King’s Resort, and it’s going to attract a ton of great live poker players.

While there are a number of locations that can be chosen to host this event, the WSOP will once again make a return to the Czech Republic. There are going to be 15 gold bracelet events that take place in the Czech Republic, all culminating with a tournament that comes with a 5 Million Euro guarantee.

There will be a chance for players from the United States to head over to Europe to compete in this event, but most events will be won by top European players.

Most WSOP announcements generate plenty of attention, but that wasn’t really the case when this schedule was first announced. There will be tournaments for different levels of poker players, but all eyes will be on the Main Event.

The Main Event is going to take place from October 4-9, and there are going to be a couple of different levels to this contest. There were over 800 entries in the Main Event a year ago, and WSOP is hoping to shatter that record this time around.

Players will be competing in different flights to begin the Main Event action, and players are going to be eliminated in the days leading up to the final table. The buy-in for this Main Event is 10,350 Euro, and that’s a small price to play for a chance to cash in.

There has been a strong push from WSOP to try to get at least 400 players competing on the first day and that will set the stage for what could be a new record.

A Look at the Schedule

There is a guaranteed prize pool of over 13.5 million Euro for this tournament, and that number could actually increase with a record-setting number of players. Most of the tournaments will not see a huge increase in the guarantee, but that money will be put into the pool at the Main Event.

While all 15 of the tournaments are going to feature some great action, there are six events that will have a prize pool of at least 1 Million Euro. The first event of this tournament will be one of those instances as that tournament will be played as a No-Limit format.

The WSOP has always been focusing on No-Limit Hold’em games, but there are other forms of poker that can be played. More information will be coming out ahead of this event, but at least the players now have an idea of the schedule.
