Jalen Brunson was a freshman on that team. Now, the guard out of Chicago continues to shine as one of the toughest players in the nation to guard. The junior guard is scoring 19.1 points per game, and dishing out just shy of 5 assists.
The Wildcats have just four losses all season. The first was at Butler, while the next three were against St. John’s, Providence and Creighton. The Wildcats are the top scoring team in all of College Basketball with 86.9 per game. The defense allowed just over 70 per game. Villanova is seeking their 6th NCAA Final Four appearance, and in their school history they have 60 tournament wins.
Mountaineers Stun Wildcats
What a game this should be. Both teams can really shoot the basketball, and score. The Mountaineers are going to want to speed the Wildcats up, but it’s hard to make Jalen Brunson make a mistake. But, they get the job done. This is the year of Bob Huggins. With his best team at West Virginia, they have a chance to win it all. They win this game and move to the Elite 8 either against conference rival Texas Tech or Purdue. Take West Virginia +5.5.
