The Oklahoma City Thunder have been without their top scorer and defending MVP Russell Westbrook the last two games. The guard is scoring 25.5 points, dishing out 10.3 assists per game, and ripping down 9.3 rebounds per game. Westbrook has more help this season with Paul George adding 22.4 per game, and Carmelo Anthony with 17 per game.

The Thunder are two games behind the Minnesota Timberwolves for fourth in the Western Conference, and also the top of the Northwest Division. A season ago, the Thunder won 47 regular season games. Oklahoma City will need to finish 16-9 to beat that total. The Thunder were eliminated in the first round of the postseason a season ago by Houston.

New Look Cavaliers Looked Good

The Cleveland Cavaliers had a party in their win on Sunday over the Boston Celtics. Cleveland was busy at the trade deadline with the additions of George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. Those four guys all contributed in the blowout win. The Cavaliers traded veterans like Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose and Jae Crowder, along with several others.

Cleveland’s LeBron James continues to dominate the league. King James is scoring 26.3 points per game, and grabbing 8.1 rebounds per game. James is also dishing out nearly 9 assists per game. The second highest scorer for Cleveland has been Kevin Love. Love is expected to be back in March after an injury.

Cleveland Wins on the Road

We are really excited about this game. The final games before the All Star Break, and we see two teams with two of the best players in the league. Russell Westbrook is expected to be back for Oklahoma City. Obviously, if he cannot play in this game, the Cavaliers will not be a one point underdog. Look for Westbrook to play, and join back up with Paul George. Those two will be good, but Cleveland has a little momentum, and their ability to shoot the basketball is going to take down the Thunder. Take Cleveland +1 over Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
