Thursday Night Football Between Giants and 49ers Kicks Off National Football League Week 3

Week 3 of the National Football League has arrived, and the Thursday Night Football game will come to you from the Bay Area.

San Francisco is the host of Week 3 action on Thursday. The New York Giants come to town to take on the 49ers.

Let’s take a look at that game and others that headline the Week 3 slate in the NFL.

New York Giants +10 at San Francisco 49ers; 44.5

The New York Giants needed all of the game in Arizona to down the Cardinals and avoid an 0-2 start. The Giants could not have started any worse.

Their first six quarters of the season were some of the worst out there. Something clicked, and the Giants had a great second half. But this is a new animal on the road at the 49ers. San Francisco has not had many weaknesses in their game through the first two games.

Christian McCaffrey continues to run wild for the 49ers. The big news here for New York is no Saquan Barkley, who is out with an ankle injury.

Los Angeles Chargers pk at Minnesota Vikings; 54.5

The highest scoring total on the board is in Minneapolis. It’s no surprise when you see the offensive talent both teams bring to the table. The Vikings even exploded to hit the over last week against the Eagles. Austin Ekeler returning would be a huge addition for the Chargers.

Minnesota is having a hard time running the football, and their worst trait is turning the football over. Look for another good game, with one of these teams finding a way to lose. Brandon Staley’s move to the hot seat in Los Angeles may become even hotter if they fall to 0-3.

Chicago Bears +12.5 at Kansas City Chiefs; 47.5

Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears have gotten off to a miserable start. Fields is not finding open guys, and the Bears signal caller is not using his legs like we saw a season ago. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are coming off a big win over Jacksonville. Much of that can be credited to the Chiefs and their defense.

The Chiefs’ defense will be excited to get back home and feast on a quarterback that will throw interceptions. This could get out of hand at Arrowhead on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 at Las Vegas Raiders; 43.5

Pittsburgh used two defensive touchdowns to win at home on Monday Night Football over the Browns. While the win was massive for the team to get to 1-1 on the season, they still have tons of offensive question marks. Now, on the road at Vegas on Sunday Night Football will be another test.

The Raiders have shown they can compete and even win games. Look for a planned, methodical attack here, leaning this game towards the UNDER, as a low-scoring, grind-it-out style game. As long as the quarterbacks don’t throw bad interceptions.

Philadelphia Eagles -4.5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 46.5

The last two NFC Champions get together in Tampa. This time, there will be no Tom Brady there under center. Jalen Hurts and his Eagles are 2-0 and will take on a Tampa Bay team that is 2-0. Baker Mayfield continues to rise to the occasion for the Buccaneers.

This is a big game for the confidence of Tampa. If they could win at home and be 3-0, this would go a long way for the remainder of the season. Mike Evans is off to a red-hot start, but look for Philadelphia to find a way to contain him in this one.

Los Angeles Rams +2 at Cincinnati Bengals; 43.5

Joe Burrow and the Bengals are 0-2. His status is in question here, but this is a breakout spot. Monday Night Football; a rematch of the Super Bowl that they lost. This is a game where Cincinnati can get healthy. Look for Cincinnati to get Jamarr Chase involved with the offense early and often here.

There is a look at some of the headlining games for Week 3 of the National Football League. Best of luck with all your NFL Betting, and enjoy the games!
