It’s time for a rematch in the NFC West that we just had the chance to see only a few weeks ago between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals.
This time around, the Seahawks will be on the road for this game. It is a game where the Cardinals are in dire need of some momentum as we reach the halfway point of the season.
A red-hot Seattle team led by Geno Smith was not on everyone’s bingo card for the 2022 season, but here we are and they look like they have elevated to a new level.
Even putting all of the Russell Wilson slander aside, the Seahawks look like a complete team and have continued to play well down the stretch of games.
They are in sole position of first place in the NFC West, so the Cardinals will be looking to see if they can knock them back down into the mix.

Narratives and storylines are an important part of any sports season, and no narrative is better than the player that Geno Smith has become.

That’s not to say there wouldn’t still be time to turn it all around, but it would be a heck of an uphill battle, all things considered.
