Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview

The undefeated Steelers will be in Baltimore to face their longtime foes on Sunday afternoon in what promises to be an exciting contest. Pittsburgh is the only remaining team in the NFL without any losses, while Baltimore has opened their year with a record of 5-1.

Pittsburgh made sure they were the last unbeaten in the AFC last week by taking out the previously 5-0 Titans. And the Cardinals helped them by beating undefeated Seattle.

It’s crazy just how much of a difference having your starting QB in the lineup every week makes, huh? Ben Roethlisberger has been great.

And for Baltimore, things have been running smoothly. They have gone 19-3 over the past 22 regular-season games, refusing to be defeated by just anybody.

This is a huge test for John Harbaugh’s team. They have lost to the Chiefs while winning in all of their other games. Pittsburgh is as tough as anybody in the league.

If Baltimore wants to win, they will need to establish the run game against this Steelers defense.

ODDS:

The spread for Sunday’s game favors the home Ravens by 4 points. The over/under is set at 46.5.

Pitt Aiming for 7-0

The Steelers would not be where they are today without several playmakers making things happen on offense. Rookie Chase Claypool became just the second Steelers player in their storied history to have a four-touchdown game. Diontae Johnson is catching every ball thrown his way, and JuJu Smith-Schuster has been solid.

We can’t forget the Pittsburgh defense, which is shutting down everybody. They even managed to keep Derrick Henry in check a week ago. And Henry had been tearing up the entire league, week after week.

What they’ll have to stop against Baltimore is very different. The most dangerous mobile QB in the NFL, Lamar Jackson, has been incredible for Baltimore once again this year. If they can’t contain him in the pocket and limit running lanes, 6-1 is probably starting these Steelers in the face.

Ravens Looking to Move into Tie Atop AFC North

A 5-1 start in the AFC North is not good enough to put the Ravens in first. They have the 5-2 Browns right behind them, and then 6-0 Pittsburgh is at the top. You have divisions like the NFC East, and you have what you see here, with three likely playoff teams.

Jackson has been in his bag, though he has been running the ball with a little consistency. Rookie running back JK Dobbins will get a big opportunity this week with Mark Ingram out of the lineup. He and Gus Edwards will have to hold it down.

Look for Devin Duvernay to be a big part of the offense this week. The rookie has been doing nothing but making big plays for the Ravens. And their new pass-rusher, Pro Bowler Yannick Ngakoue will probably make his Baltimore debut.

Ravens Pick Up The W

No more undefeated teams! Baltimore will defeat their division foes to keep it rolling.
