Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Clippers Game 6 Betting Preview

Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Clippers Game 6 Betting Preview

The Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers, with the battle for Game 6 supremacy.

The Clippers are 2-0 in Game 6‘s through two rounds, needing both in order to either claim a series win or extend one earlier. And so, as they play a third one, another victory is much needed for the team. If they can get it done, they will push their opponents to the brink.

Meanwhile, the Suns probably think that this is the time to end it. Chris Paul had so many bitter memories during his days with the Clips, so ending their year at Staples Center would probably feel extra special for him. The team is in a good position to do so, despite failing to just win one in front of their own home fans.

The Clippers have a chance to still reach the NBA Finals. And given the injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night, everything has now opened up. Anything can truly happen with any team in the league, literally. It is wide open. If they can knock out the Suns, they could be one of the biggest surprise NBA champions in the long history of the league.

This is a game that will get a whole lot of viewers and bets. And it is a game that fans will be biting their fingernails watching for the whole thing.

ODDS

The game 6 spread is set at LAC -1. The over/under is 215 points.

Suns Trying to Punch Ticket to Finals

The Phoenix Suns have never won an NBA title. That’s right, not one time have they finished as the best in the league when all was said and done. Michael Jordan made sure that stayed true, and so Charles Barkley and Kevin Johnson could not deliver one for the city. CP3 and Devin Booker might be able to change that and make some huge history, though.

The team has gotten a huge lift from Cam Johnson of late, the lottery pick from 2019 that has captured the hearts of the team’s fans. He and Torrey Craig provided tremendous second-half minutes in game 5. But, on their home court, they failed to win. They could not put those pesky Clippers away.

A big DBook day and a DeAndre Ayton domination will equal a berth in the last round.

Clippers Seek to Force Game 7

A game 7 situation in the conference finals is what everyone wants to see. A chance for the LA Clippers to get back at Chris Paul, to get to the Finals before he does. That could happen if they can secure a home win and then another one on the road. It is not impossible at all.

Paul George had the best playoff game of his career, in which he shot a whopping 15-20 in game 5 and just could not be stopped. Reggie Jackson continued to serve as the perfect sidekick, and coach Ty Lue’s rotation changes paid off once more.

Ivica Zubac’s MCL injury did not derail anything. Marcus Morris and DeMarcus Cousin more than held the fort down at the five position. A win will come from another big PG performance and the team winning in the 3-point game.

CLIPPERS FORCE GAME 7

It’s not over yet. Playoff P will go off to lift the Clips to a win and a tied series.
