Philadelphia 76ers at Indiana Pacers Betting Pick and Prediction

It’s a battle of the two 29-win teams, and it should be exciting. The Sixers went and absolutely defiled the TWolves last time out, as Jimmy Butler helped deliver the message that he does not miss his old situation.

Indiana, on the other hand, continues to pile up victories, as they dominated the Suns the other night. They have been doing a stellar defensive job, leading them to win after win, whether or not Oladipo plays well.

Sixers:

The #6 scoring offense in the league, they know how to put the ball in early and often. Defensively, however, they are #22, and we have seen a ton of guys have career-highs against them, mostly guards. They are 18-4 at home this year and will have the definite upper hand. JJ Redick continues to knock down his threes, while Joel Embiid is playing like a beast in the paint. What more could they ask for on offense? They dropped 149 points against the “third-stringers” of the TWolves in that last game, showing us just what they are capable of.

Ben Simmons, though he still doesn’t have a jumper, is having a marvelous season, and finishing well around the rim. He makes the offense go, and that is just what it has been doing. Embiid put on a show against Towns, while Butler is taking over games where he sees fit. The end goal is the NBA Finals for this team, and with efforts like we saw on Tuesday, it is doable.

Pacers:

Though the offense is constantly going up and down, their defense is sensational. They are #3 in the league in fewest points allowed, which is roughly 104 per game in 2018-19, crazy to see that. Victor Oladipo has been having his moments, but it is awesome for this team to see that they can still win some games when he has off nights. They are very well-built, and Domantas Sabonis will be in the running for what might be the wildest sixth man of the year race we have EVER seen. They will have both Darren Collison and Cory Joseph available.

They’ve got six guys scoring in double-figures on average, and Tyreke Evans, despite his inconsistency, has been playing well of late. His ability to put the ball in the hoop effectively is a big part of what this team can do. Bojan Bogdanovic’s career season has continued, as he is now up to 16 points per game on average. This is a well-coached, and disciplined team, one who we just might see in the ECF!

Pacers win the race to 30 wins

Indiana is going to get the job done tonight against Philly, in what will be a hard-fought game. Victor Oladipo is going to drop 30 to help power the team to the win. Sabonis will also have a massive double-double.

It will not be Philly’s night. They’re not a great road team.
