Orlando Magic at Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview

The Orlando Magic are on the road at the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. This is a big game for the Eastern Conference standings. The Orlando Magic have dropped back to back games, including Wednesday’s in Milwaukee. With that, Orlando has dropped to a tie with Indiana for fifth in the East. The Magic and Pacers are just a single game ahead of the 76ers.

Philadelphia is 45-35 on the season. The 76ers have won six straight games. The most recent win for Philadelphia was at home on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons. The 76ers are seeking to avoid the play-in game by sneaking into the Top 6.

The Philadelphia 76ers are -6.5 at home over the Orlando Magic here. The total is 211.

Huge Lift for Philadelphia

It has been great to see Joel Embiid back for the Philadelphia 76ers. The big man was scoring more than 35 points per game before his injury. Since his return, he has averaged 29.5 minutes per game and scored 30 points. Embiid has had 12 and 11 rebounds in his last two games. The 76ers knew he was the biggest key to the season.

Tyrese Maxey was forced to step into a huge role as a scorer. In the April 7th win at the Spurs, he recorded 52 points in 53 minutes played. He was out the last game with a hip injury, and now the 76ers are looking to get him back and healthy for a postseason run.

Philadelphia as a team is scoring 114.6 points per game. The 76ers are one of the best free throw shooting teams in the league, making just shy of 83%. Philadelphia will finish the regular season on Sunday. The 76ers are set to host the Brooklyn Nets.

Free Falling Magic

The Orlando Magic have dropped three out of their last four games. The common theme in those three losses was a lack of defense. The Magic allowed 124, 118 and 117 in those games. The Magic are not good enough offensively to not play defense. Orlando is scoring just 110.4 points per game.

Paolo Banchero has been the leader of the Magic offense. The former Duke star has played in 78 games, and is scoring 22.5 points per game. He has gone for 20+ in five straight games, including back to back games of 32 points. Next is Franz Wagner, who is just shy of 20 per game.

The Magic will wrap up the regular season on Sunday. Orlando is at home to take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

76ers Stay Hot

The Philadelphia 76ers are red hot right now. WIth Embiid back, this seems to be a totally different basketball team. At home, they are not going to miss the chance to grab this one.

A win here and the standings are all up for grabs heading into the final regular season game. The 76ers win this game at home. Take Philadelphia -6.5 over Orlando on Friday. Enjoy the game and best of luck!
