A 36-game swing over their final 112 contests of the year is truly impressive and shows how much heart this ballclub truly plays with. They have never advanced in the postseason, so a bit of history could be made in DC tonight.

Brewers Trying To Win For Yelich

Brandon Woodruff had a strong year for Milwaukee, finishing 11-3 with an ERA just over 3.00. He pitched in three playoff games in relief last year, allowing three runs in 9 1/3 innings, while striking out 17.
Nats Look To Make History
This is a franchise that has never advanced in the postseason, their three appearances in the Bryce Harper era all leading to them falling out in the NLDS. This time, they will have it all on the line with a single game, and they will have to start strong. They have got a very solid lineup, where everybody is healthy for this game. Look for Trea Turner to try and steal anytime he gets on. The same should also be said of Victor Robles, too.
Max Scherzer went 11-7 with a 2.92 ERA and struck out 243 batters in 172 1/3 innings of work in 2019. He has gone 0-2 in four playoff appearances as a National, after a 4-3 mark as a playoff starter in Detroit.
