The National Football League has turned it’s page to Week 10 of the season. This week will see another slate of great games, but one that we have our eyes on is the Houston Texans on the road at the Los Angeles Rams. The Houston Texans were losers in Week 9 at home to the Indianapolis Colts. The loss dropped them to 3-5 on the season, which is third in the AFC South behind Tennessee and Jacksonville.
The home team Los Angeles Rams are one of the hottest teams in the league. The Rams have won three straight games, and are 6-2 on the season. The Rams have a game lead on Seattle for the top spot in the division. Los Angeles comes into this game against Houston as big favorites. The Los Angeles Rams are -11 over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Rams are one of the top scoring teams in all of the National Football League. In the NFC – only the Philadelphia Eagles have scored more points, and they have played an extra game. The Rams are scoring 32.9 points per game. Jared Goff, in his second season is having an elite season. He has thrown for more than 2,000 yards and has 13 touchdowns.
Todd Gurley is a star in the league. The running back is tacking on yards and touchdowns on a weekly basis. The running has back has 7 rushing touchdowns, with several other receiving touchdowns. The Rams will face a tough stretch following this game, as they go on the road at Minnesota, and then come back home and host the Saints.
Savage Struggling for Houston
The season ended with DeShaun Watson was announced out for the season in Houston. Watson, as a rookie was leading the offense down field, and making Texans games exciting. Tom Savage is not doing that. Savage was pretty poor in the loss to the Colts on Sunday. The quarterback has thrown 57 passes, and completed just 26, for just 281 yards on the season.
DeAndre Hopkins is having a monster season for Houston with 51 receptions, 8 touchdowns and nearly 700 yards receiving. LaMar Miller still resides as the leading running back, but has yet to reach 500 on the season. The Texans have dropped three out of their last four, allowing 103 points in those three games.
Rams Whip Texans
The Los Angeles Rams seem to be a team on a mission. Sean McVay, the head coach in Los Angeles is doing a great job, and the team looks completely different. The Rams can pass the football with Goff, and certainly are one of the better rushing teams in the league with Todd Gurley. Houston is beat up. The Rams are due to score a ton of points again on Sunday. The Los Angeles Rams -11 over the Houston Texans is our bet for Sunday.
