The National Football League is back! Thursday starts the NFL Preseason, albeit just a solo game.
The 2023 Hall of Fame game will take place on Thursday at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The game will feature the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns.

Rodgers Under Center for Jets
The biggest news for either of these two teams and maybe throughout the entire National Football League, is the Jets will see Aaron Rodgers start games under center.
The 39-year-old, who spent his entire career with the Packers, has found a new team. Whether this will work in New York or not has yet to be seen. Unfortunately, the Jets announced Rodgers will not be playing in this game.

Browns Ready for Full Season of Watson
On the other side, the Cleveland Browns are excited to get a full season with DeShaun Watson as their quarterback. After sitting out much of last season due to suspension, Watson is back, and the 27-year-old feels he has a ton to prove.
But, like Rodgers, unfortunately, it appears Watson will not play in this game. Browns reporter Jake Trotter mentions he feels Watson will only play in the preseason game against the Commanders on August 10th and none of the rest. Josh Dobbs will likely get the start for the Browns in this one.
The name to slow down in the Cleveland offense is running back Nick Chubb. The 27-year-old out of Georgia rushed for over 1,500 yards a season ago and got into the end zone 12 times via the rush.
Chubb is widely known as one of the top running backs in all of the league. He has been with the Browns since 2018.
Preseason Prediction
It’s really tough to bet on Preseason football—especially the first game of the season. But, in the end, the Browns have fewer question marks involving them. We understand that the Jets are one of those teams that are supposed to be a playoff push-type team in 2023. But the Browns are a team that we know what they are going to do.
The Browns are going to run the football, control the clock, and attempt to play good defense. With back-ups in the game, and Wilson getting the start for the Jets, this is a recipe for a Browns win. The two bets to make here are the Browns -2.5 and the over 33.5. The game goes over with a defensive score making the difference.
